Right now copy-pasting doesn't seem to work (don't know where to best put the blame for this, as Jisho.org uses standard-conforming ruby tags). You can however add Ruby manually in Word, here's a tutorial: https://allabout.co.jp/gm/gc/313436/
We use a few different methods for furigana in different parts - an ongoing project is to unify all these into common HTML/CSS. Unfortunately copying with the furigana in its place above the words is practically impossible. I am actually trying to standardise on not including the furigana at all when copying.
But different areas of the site might end up with different solutions. For example the part that shows text you have searched for with furigana might get the furigana interleaved by parenthesis, while example sentences will probably exclude the furigana completely, as I have had many requests for that behaviour.
a work around for users might just be to simply use a screenshot/screen clipping utility and make an image out of the sentence with furigana if you are merely wanting to keep it for study and print it out as an image rather than text.
Printing
I often insert a few Japanese sentences into the search function and the result is great! I can then read the sentence with the furigana above the kanji.
Love to be able to print out the sentences with the furigana included.
I've tried copy and pasting onto a Word or Note doc in order to print. However the sentences lose their flowing structure and the words and furigana become stacked up into one long column of words.
Is there a way to print Japanese sentences/paragraphs including the furingana in a proper flowing sentence format? Or any plans?
