I was finally able to find the time to make this change, so as of yesterday all traffic to Jisho will now use HTTPS.

Jisho will switch to HTTPS only on March 3rd
Jisho has been available using HTTPS for a while now, and the time has come to switch off HTTP support. I intend to make the switch on Saturday March 3rd.
After the switch any request to Jisho over HTTP will result in a permanent redirect to the HTTPS version of that page. The API will make the switch at the same time.
This should have no impact on anyone's ability to use the site, but will ensure that everyone uses a secure connection when accessing Jisho.
