i'm confused about the 'expressions'.

When see that a word is a suru, na, no, noun i understand how they work or atleast i can readup about the grammar to find out how they work, their plane forms etc.

but when i come accross somthing that is an expression like

I get stuck with thoughts of
is it just a single word, or is it made up of more than one, if so what are they. (a kind of rolling effect).

Is there a page that shows/teaches about what the 'exrpressions' are on this website?

regards shaun.

You could try reading about grammar, these expressions are normally explained in grammar books.
A free website would be http://imabi.net and for example for the expressions you listed in your post, here is an explanation: http://www.imabi.net/must.htm

If you want real books, these are probably the best out there that aren't textbooks. https://www.tofugu.com/reviews/dictionary-of-basic-japanese-grammar/
