Clarification ... is it possible to use a "global" setting to limit results to Common Words only.
Using the #common tag on every search is extremely tedious and time consuming !!
After you searched a term you can click "All" and then click on "Common" to add the tag.
That selection is not saved permanently, though.
However, the classic jisho.org is still available under http://classic.jisho.org/
Thanks for your suggestion ... however all the clicking for each search is what I am trying to eliminate. I study Japanese about 2 to 4 hours per day, and Jisho.org is a tool that I use extensively.
Either a profile setting or the ability of the search engine to maintain previous search criteria would go a long way in eliminating constant moving the mouse (cursor) and multiple clicks between searches ... !!
Sorry, this is currently not possible. In general I would recommend against relying too much on the common words search. The search ordering takes that and other factors into account, so words should generally be in useful order.
Common Words Only search ??
In the Classic Jisho.org, it was possible to limit search results to Common Words only ... is there a similar capability in the "new" Jisho.org ?
