I am considering not keeping the forum for the next version of the site, but if I decide to keep it I will make sure to use a proper forum software that will have that and other features that can be expected from a forum.

Admin question
This question is for the admin but is it possible to add a feature to make it so when you click on people profile you can see all there discussions for forums, instead of just a red dot with empty space? I've seen a lot of good questions from people and would love to see more from those people who seem knowledgeable.
